Wenn nicht der Osten, dann halt nach Westen!
Südamerika ist in unserer Vorstellung fast ebenso schön wie der Baikalsee und die Mongolei, deshalb verlassen wir Anfang August Deutschland in Richtung Schweiz und Südfrankreich, anstatt die Donau entlang zu radeln.
Um uns sprachlich auf Südamerika vorzubereiten werden wir die Iberische Halbinsel umrunden. 
Ende Oktober setzen wir dann mit dem Schiff nach Panama über, von wo aus wir Südamerika mit dem Fahrrad erkunden wollen.

If not east, then the west!
South America seams nearly as wonderful as the Lake Baikal and Mongolia.
That is the reason why we will leave Germany in the beginning of august in the direction of Switzerland and southern France instead of biking along the Danube.
To brush up our language skills for South America we will cycle around the Iberian peninsula.
At the end of october we will take a boat to Panama from where we want to explore South America by bike.
